The London Proof House can also apply discreet proof marking to maintain the value and beauty of historical arms. Black powder and nitro reproof is available.

Many older firearms are out of proof, and we can provide feedback on whether a gun needs reproof before it can be sold or advertised for auction. We have all historical rules of proof and can check or reproof all firearms, old and new. To help identify older firearms, we can chamber cast the gun and measure the cast on a shadowgraph to confidently identify what cartridge it is chambered for.
