We prove thousands of bespoke target rifles every year. We prove these rifles to standard and also to non-standard chamber designations, which ultimately helps target rifle makers achieve the best levels of consistency and accuracy, whilst still ensuring the rifles are safe to use. We handle these precision rifles with great care and attention as we do with all handmade guns.

The target rifles are handled very carefully, and the proof marks are applied in accordance with customer requirements – many requiring deep but very smartly applied proof marks from our state-of-the-art laser marker.

Non-standard proof markings

The result of pursuing elite levels of accuracy is sometimes making rifles with a bespoke, non-standard, chamber or neck size. We will mark your target rifle with the non-standard proof mark, allowing resale while maintaining your rifles adherence to the strict safety requirements.

We handle these bespoke barrels and actions with absolute care so as not to damage the quality of finish and apply proof marks deep enough to be blacked or cerakoted over.
